The Publishing Portal of the National University of Córdoba (UNC) is an institutional platform that brings together and supports the academic publishing houses of the University’s various faculties and units, promoting the publication, management, and dissemination of scholarly, scientific, and cultural books in digital format.

Powered by the Open Monograph Press (OMP) software, the portal provides a comprehensive environment for the entire editorial workflow — from manuscript submission to online publication — offering tools for peer review management, metadata curation, DOI assignment, interoperability with repositories and indexing systems, and international visibility through open standards and protocols (OAI-PMH, Crossref, ONIX, among others).

The portal is technically managed and developed by the Open Knowledge Office (Oficina de Conocimiento Abierto, OCA), which operates under the Vice-Secretariat of Institutional Communication of the UNC. The OCA also coordinates the Journal Portal and the Institutional Digital Repository, aligning policies, standards, and services for the preservation and open access dissemination of the University’s scholarly output.

Through these platforms, UNC strengthens its commitment to open science, knowledge democratization, and the global visibility of its academic publishing activities.
