Latin American Territorialities: Assemblages of materialities and vitalities in writing
Keywords:
Latin America, Literature, TerritorialitiesSynopsis
This book is presented as a snapshot of a stage in the process of various collective research projects on territorialities in Latin American literature and culture which, like a photograph, collects, resumes, and rearticulates the threads of dissemination and is revealed in that encounter.
“Latin American Territorialities” is the title chosen for this volume because its plural form refers to the heterogeneity of experiences linked to the world, to the heterogeneity of the corpora and materialities with which these teams work. The publication critically fictionalizes its corpora in an argumentative economy constructed from constellations and series that challenge the orders of modernity and the fabric of the territory. The book is divided into two parts, whose subtitles reflect the dimensions that seek to be interrogated: “Materialities (archives, bodies, images, borders, cities, escapes)” and “Vitalities (bodies, ontologies, transits).”
