Keywords:
Querandí, indigenous peoplesSynopsis
This publication is the result of work carried out by the Telomian Condic Community, of the Querandí Nation, together with a group of linguists from different national universities (UBA, UNC, UNRN). For several years now, they have been disseminating different types of communications about the topics they have been researching at events, schools, academic conferences, exhibitions, and scientific journals. This material is designed to tell the story of the community in particular, and of the Querandí Nation in general, based on various documents and the oral history that has been passed down to them. Thus, historical sources, census data, and archival data are revisited, but the publication also recounts the current situation of the community. That is, the different types of activities they carry out, pottery, carpentry, their ceremonies, etc. In particular, it also draws on the work carried out by the Mirrí Group on the recovery of the Querandí Het language. Furthermore, as this publication is intended as teaching material for schools in the country, the writing, format, and images have been designed for use in the classroom. In addition, exercises and games have been designed for students to share.
